Bolton’s highly popular Remembrance Concert will be back again this year, on Saturday November 10 at 7pm at the Albert Halls.
The concert, which transforms audiences back more than 60 years, will include a packed programme of laughter, song and dance.
It will include performances from Dawn Dawson Stage Academy, The Hoover Brass Band and a male voice harmony group and will conclude with a special remembrance sing-a-long and the Act of Remembrance, including falling poppies.
Councillor Guy Harkin, Mayor of Bolton said: “The event is a combination of happy and solemn remembrance for Britain’s armed forces of past and present who have fallen in battle. Essentially it is an opportunity for everyone to have a great time and a night of nostalgia and we’d like to encourage everyone to come along and support Bolton’s former servicemen.”
Tickets for the Remembrance Concert are £7 and are available from the Albert Halls Box Office on 01204 334400 or through the website. The curtain goes up at 7pm and the show finishes at 9.45pm.
