A quirky comedy double act will be coming to Bolton town centre this Saturday (13/3).

Jones and Barnard will amuse shoppers with a variety of British characters performing bizarre dance, classic song and variety skills routines, all to a funky soundtrack.

The duo will also stage a theatrical comedy walk through the town centre as part of a 1930s golfer sketch.

They will perform two 30 minute shows at noon and 1pm, with the walkabout starting at 2pm in Victoria Square.

The show is the latest in the line up of free town centre events organised by Bolton Council.

Councillor John Byrne, Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Development, said: “This week’s free town centre event will bring a great amount of humour and good spirit to local residents.

“The duo are said to have a fresh approach to performing comedy classics and create a fun atmosphere for all by getting the audience to participate in their act. I’d encourage all to come on down and join in the fun.”
