Charity ball at Town Hall

Boltons Mayor and Mayoress

The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Guy Harkin is urging Bolton residents to come along to an evening of fun, music and fundraising for charity.

The Mayor’s Charity Ball and Cabaret will take place on Friday 15th March starting at 7pm. For the first time, guests will be able to arrive by the beautiful main ceremonial entrance to the Town Hall. Vehicles will be allowed to drive onto the square and guests will be shown up the steps and escorted through to the reception by the Bolton Sea Cadets.

The evening will begin with a drinks reception, followed by a five course meal. During the meal, guests can marvel at the magic of up-close magicians. After dinner, the casino room will be opened for guests to try their hand at traditional casino games to win tokens to exchange for prizes. The cabaret for this year will be the 70’s stars, Paperlace, most famous for their hit single, Billy Don’t Be a Hero and supported by the hilarious comedian Kurtis King.
Tickets are priced at £30.00 for the meal, casino and cabaret, or there is also a cabaret only ticket available for £10, which includes entry into the casino room from 9pm and a seat in the balcony of the Albert Halls to watch the comedian and Paperlace.

The Mayor of Bolton, Councillor Guy Harkin said: “I’d like to encourage as many people as possible to come along to this event. This promises to be a fun and exciting night of music, laughter, magic and dancing, as well as raising much needed funds for some very worthy causes.”
