Visitors to Bolton’s Central Library on Thursday morning are invited to join staff for a drink and a biscuit as part of World Book Day celebrations.
The annual event aims to promote books and reading and this year focuses on the theme of sharing a book.
During the free coffee morning, starting at 10am on Thursday March 4, book lovers can come along to the library and have a chat with others about inspirational or exciting books that they are reading.
Bolton Council’s Executive Member for Adult Services Councillor Elaine Sherrington said: “World Book Day is an important event in a library’s calendar as it celebrates and encourages reading.
“This year’s focus on sharing will hopefully encourage more adults and children to discuss the pleasures of books and reading.”
