Bolton Council has introduced an email reminder service for residents, to keep on top of which bins need to be presented on waste and recycling collection days.
Residents can enter their postcode and then sign up for the reminder service. They will be sent an email before each collection day reminding them which bins need to be presented for collection. Residents will also be emailed with service announcements, such as any changes to scheduled collections due to Christmas and New Year. They will also be informed of any interruptions in service, due to bad weather. Residents will also be emailed recycling reminders and tips.
