All the ingredients for a cosy Autumnal night in will be on offer at this month’s Artisan Market at Heaton Fold Garden Centre.
Delicious cheeses, plump olives and homemade chutneys, jams and preserves will all be on sale this Sunday (September 18), along with scrumptious cakes and brownies.
Shoppers will also be able to pick up their Winter bedding plants and Winter hanging baskets from the garden centre, as well as Spring flowering bulbs including mini daffodils, hyacinths and English bluebells.
And if there’s still a bit of Summer sunshine lingering, visitors with young families can try out the garden centre’s lovely, new play area.
The self-service café has also benefited from an extension, providing even more space for a rest and a drink or snack. Dogs welcome.
The market takes place every third Sunday of the month at Heaton Fold Garden Centre, on Overdale Drive, off Chorley New Road, from 10am to 4pm. Free parking is available on site.
Brian Hood, from Signature Soaps – a Bolton-based artisan producer of handmade soaps – organises the market in conjunction with Bolton Council.
