A health fair will take place at Bolton Market on Saturday, January 12.
The event, organised jointly by Bolton Council and NHS Bolton, is the third of its kind that the market is hosting.
Residents are invited to come along and find out more about the free services available to tackle health related issues.
Health professionals will be on hand to give advice about getting active, losing weight, improving general wellbeing and health and stopping smoking.
The fair will take place from 11am to 3pm in the central square of the non-food section of the market.
Community nutrition worker Joan Farnworth, will also show the public how to cook fresh, healthy meals using produce bought from the market, in the cookery demonstration kitchen.
Free samples will be available.
