Wellbeing Project

Fruit

Bolton Market is working in partnership with NHS Bolton to delivery an exciting project which is healthy for you and your pocket.

The FREE 6 week programme is designed to help residents improve their cookery skills, learn more about healthy eating from qualified nutritionists, get physically active and also reduce spend on weekly food shopping.

Who can get involved?

Anyone over the age of 16 and resident in Bolton can participate in the scheme with weekly sessions taking place on Tuesday and Thursday morning's.

As a participant you will learn to cook a different healthy dish each week. The sessions aim to improve your confidence and cooking skills, and teach you how to shop for fresh seasonal ingredients and save money on your weekly food shop. You will also have access to a range of health service providers from across Bolton who can help tackle individual health issues and improve general wellbeing.

The next new term is due to begin in June
