If your child needs a place in a primary school during the academic year then you will need to contact Pupil and Student Services for an In Year Admission form. You may also download the application form from the Downloads section on the right hand side of this page. If you are transfering from a Bolton primary school the Head Teacher of the current school will need to sign the form.
If your child needs a secondary school place you will need to complete the In Year Admission form together with the Transfer Form if your child is currently attending a Bolton secondary school. The Transfer Form will also need to be completed by the current Bolton secondary school.
If a place cannot be offered in one of your preferred schools you will be offered an alternative and provided with details on the Authority's appeals procedure.
