The FreeBie scheme offers free swimming to all Bolton residents aged 16 and under or 60 and over and free leisure activities for all aged 65 and over. So now people can have fun, improve their health and feel great all for free!
16s and under
Swim for free anytime - All casual swimming is free. Simply turn up at your local pool with your BSmart card and you can have fun by the tonne with your mates all for free – don’t forget your swimming trunks!
Learn to swim for free – Book free swimming lessons in your school holidays. Always book in advance as there is limited availability. BSmart card required. Contact your local leisure centre (see contact details below).
60s and over
Swim for free anytime – Swimming is a fantastic sport that anyone can enjoy. It’s great for your health and it’s amazing how much energy a little exercise will give you. And all this for free! Simply turn up at your local leisure centre with your Bolton Smart card.
65s and over
Free leisure activities anytime - As well as the fantastic free swimming offer, you can benefit from free leisure activities too. There’s a huge range of activities available including aerobics, gym, bowls, badminton, Tai Chi and much more! Simply turn up at your local leisure centre with your Bolton Smart card.
