Kearsley Children's Centre 

The centre is located in the Kearsley ward in Bolton.  It is a purpose built building on Birch Road.

What services can parents and children access at the centre?

The centre offers a range of integrated services for families with children under the age of five years.  These services are referred to as the ‘core offer’ and include:
    • Antenatal /postnatal care
    • Health services
    • Links to Job Centre Plus
    • Education and childcare
    • Family Support
    • Information on a wide range of services

Does the centre have a nursery on site?

The centre has no linked day care provision but provides a base for childminders. Information about day care providers in the local area is available from the centre or from Family Information Service on 01204 332170.

Are there any other services available at the centre that parents can access?

The following is also available at the centre:

• The centre has a number of multi functional rooms to support the delivery of child and family health services parenting courses crèche\play and stay activities.
• A small library is based at the centre offering books for adults and children.
• A community café onsite offers drinks and light snacks.
• Health visitors deliver a weekly baby clinic at the centre.
