What services can parents and children access at the centre?

The centre offers a range of integrated services for families with children under the age of five years.  These services are referred to as the 'core offer' and include:

• Early Education and Day Care
• Child and Family Health Services 
• Family Workers and Outreach teams
• Childminder drop-in  

Does the centre have a nursery on site?

Yes. The nursery is open from 8am to 6pm on weekdays 51 weeks of the year. The free flexible entitlement grant is available for all three and four year olds, this enables you to claim free childcare for up to 15 hours per week per child.

In recent Ofsted Inspection the Nursery was judged as ‘Good’ with Outstanding aspects in the provision of Early Education and Care.

Are there any other services available at the centre that parents can access?

There are a number of partner agencies based within the building:

• Play Services - After School Club and Holiday Play Scheme for children aged 4 to 13
• Pupil Referral Unit – The Young Mums Unit supports girls under the age of 16 years who are pregnant or have had a baby and are still statutory school age to continue their education
• Community Midwifery and Outreach Teams
• Health Visiting Team

There are also a range of health services delivered from the centre that include:  

• Health Visitor 
• Midwifery Team
• Physiotherapist 
• Speech Therapy sessions
• Dietician

Support and advice for pregnant mums is available from the Community Midwifes and Health Visitors based at the centre.
