Elections - postal votes 


Local Elections for Bolton will be held on 3rd May 2012

To apply for a postal vote for this election, applications must be with the Elections Office, Room 207, Town Hall, Bolton BL1 1RU or in the Applications Box, One Stop Shop Reception, Bolton Town Hall by 5.00pm on 18th April 2012.

If an elector can’t get to the polling station, he or she may apply for a postal vote. This may be applied for on a temporary or permanent basis.

The deadline for applications is 5.00pm eleven working days prior to election day.

Applications must be made in writing (see contact details). A postal vote application form can be found via the links to the right. The form is provided to make requesting a postal vote easier.

No reason need be given as to why an elector requires a postal vote. Postal voting is now on demand.
