Bolton's very own charity, the BIG Bolton Fund, was launched in 2007 and helps support local causes throughout Bolton. From children’s projects to activities for older people and from schemes that promote health to those that help build community spirit, the fund provides grants for many community and voluntary groups.
These grants help small community groups pay for projects that make a real difference to the lives of local people. For every pound given to The BIG Bolton Fund, a pound is received from the Government meaning that more help can be given to Bolton.
