Education and childcare
If your child needs additional support within their childcare setting, the setting may apply for additional funding. Children with special educational needs have the right to be educated in mainstream schools where parents wish and the interests of the other children can be protected. An Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) is required for all children and young people who are enrolled to a special school or resourced provision. Information about the support which is available for children and young people with 0-25 years old, with a sensory impairment.
