Laura will light up Bolton

X-Factor star Laura White will add a touch of sparkle when she switches on Bolton’s Christmas lights this year.

The 21-year-old singing sensation will join the Mayor, Councillor Norman Critchley and Father Christmas to flick the giant switch at 7pm in Victoria Square, on Thursday, December 3.

She will also perform her new single ‘You Should Have Known’ which was released on November 2.

Laura joins a long list of Bolton celebrities that have flicked the big switch, including Amir Khan, Vernon Kay and Peter Kay.

The festive fun kicks off at 6pm in Victoria Square. The grand, long established Christmas parade of colourful characters, featuring Santa with the Mayor in his sleigh, will once again wind its way through the town centre to Victoria Square for the switch on.Fireworks over Bolton town hall
